When I got my sewing machine for Christmas last year, I scoured many different websites and online communities for inspiration. Clothing reconstruction was one of the concepts I was introduced to and although I didn't like everything I saw, I was still incredibly amazed at the level of skill and creativity.
Yesterday I stumbled on this reconstructed skort made from two secondhand jackets from fashion designer from the Netherlands named Tineke Greijdanus.
I've seen this baggy pants style on quite a few street fashion blogs. Personally, this one is not for me but what do you think of this creation?
I found this on a website called DesignSpotter which is an online "design magazine dedicated to everything related to young modern contemporary design including: accessoires, books, design-contests, exhibitions, fashion, furniture, hotels, lighting, new materials, residential architecture, interior design and prototypes."

i'm not sure if i'm diggin' the jacket skort, though. nice blog! stop by and visit fashion frenzy! :)
it´s a fun piece, but it´s not something esay to match, you must have personality to wear it...and i am sure you have!
a kiss and a hug,
thanks a lot for bein so kind with me :)
see you,
Kira
what would you like my name to be? - I would like your name to be shorter for one. lol j/k. Thanks for the love on the blog.
Hey Kira! No problem at all luv!
About the piece, I think personality is one thing but body type is another. I can't see this being good for my shape in any way.
yes lets exchange!
Its interesting...i'd probably rock it..why not! thanks for stopping by my site...and yes I got the boots for $8 at a vintage shop downtown (im in Canada...nowehere near you..too bad or I just might invite you shopping!) let me know if you want to do a link trade!
I linked you up too!! :)
nice blouse. the sheer and the puffy sleeves are just about right.
p/s: i've linked you :D
Thanks for the adds! You're linked too.
hmmm...it's questionable, do want to look like your wearing adult diapers? I've also seen it and it would appear that we've zipped past the early 90's and smack bang into the mid 90's for our fashion inspiration!
I really line your blog and I've linked back.
Imelda - haha, adult diapers. I know some people would like these but I'm not a 90s fashion fan.
