Although it was not my favourite dress at the Met's Costume Gala, I did find the lightning bolts on Lake Bell's Balmain dress quite interesting. Sure the letter S and bats are great but they're so overdone. Lightning bolts are the new way to go for superhero inspiration!

When i first saw the Dsquared pumps I loved them but I thought OK in the grand scheme of trends were does this fit in? You've pulled together a brilliant trend piece...LOVE IT!
I'm sort of completely glad superheroes are getting some much deserved fashion cred. I knew there was a reason I loved DSquared so much. I wonder how much saving I'll have to do to buy those heels and the spikey Rodarte Loubs.
